► GSECARS hosted students in the DOE FAST Program, summer 2010. Three students from Southern University and A&M College were sponsored by faculty mentor Dr. Riyadh Al-Raoush and GSECARS beamline scientist Mark Rivers.
► GSECARS hosted a tour for the “10th International Conference on X-ray Microscopy”, August 2010.
► GSECARS hosted three summer interns, Daniel Citron, John Lazarz and Travis Ksiazek.

► GSECARS hosted a tour for the Shock Physics Workshop, June 28, 2011.
► GSECARS with UC Davis hosted, “Workshop on the Next Generation HIgh Pressure Tomography Apparatus”, September 27-28, 2011.
► GSECARS hosted four summer interns, Daniel Citron, John Lazarz, Travis Ksiazek and Craig Biwer.

► GSECARS hosted two experiments at 13 BMD for high school students in the Exemplary Student Research Program representing five local area high schools (Downers Grove South HS, Lindblom Math & Science HS, Downers Grove North HS, Neuqua Valley HS , Glenbard East HS).
► Mark Rivers, GSECARS, ran a workshop “asy and areaDetectors”, October 16-17, 2012.
► GSECARS participated in the Neutron and X-ray Scattering School in June, 2012.
► GSECARS hosted one summer intern, Peyton Irmen.

► GSECARS hosted two experiments at 13 IDE for high school students in the Exemplary Student Research Program representing four local area high schools (Community HS, Neuqua Valley HS, Glenbard East HS, Wheaton HS).
